Canoeing On The Liffey...

We canoed on the Liffey at the new Canoe Club with our School Secetary, Mary, who once canoed for Ireland and won world championship medals. Today, she showed us her medals from 1983. At the new Canoe Club, when we started canoeing, there was five in each Canadian canoe. By the end, everyone had a turn to row, Mary was in the back rowing too. On our way back, we had a tiny race but we eventually forgot about it. We turned back when we got caught in the current, when people rowed on the way back, it was much faster because of the current pushing us down the river. It was a fun day, and we really enjoyed it...
