On the 27th of October the senior room went to Croke Park in Dublin. While we were waiting to go into the museum we had fruit kebabs. First we learned loads of facts about Croke Park and the G.A.A. Then we saw the All Irelad trophy. Then we went into dressing room number three . Inside the dressing room there was a table. At half time if theteam was losing the managar would bang it. We went to the preparation room. This is where the players practice before the match. After that we went into the stands.
Croke Park looks bigger when it's full. Croke Park is where Dublin play their home games and the all Ireland Final is played there every year. We went into a corprate box. You can rent them to watch matches.
There was a PS2 there. On the playstation 2 there was a Gaelic game. You could practise your GAA there which was cool. There were trophies, medals and jerseys being displayed in cabinets there. Everybody had fun.

As part of our history course we studied the role the GAA played in the Gaelic Revival. The GAA promotes gaelic games including gaelic football, hurling, handball and camogie. Cumann na mBunsoil promotes gaelic games among primary schools. Click on the link below to find out more about Croke Park.
